An easy-to-remember name for a computer, device, or shared folder in Network Magic.

After you name your network, Network Magic displays the name in the following locations:

• The Network Status box (top right of the Network Magic display)

 

• The Network Magic title bar (above the Network Magic display)

1. Click Network Map.

 

2. In the map, click your router.

 

3. In the Tasks tab, click Change Network Name.

 

4. In the Change Network Name dialog box, type the name you want (for example, Smith Family Network).

 

5. Click OK.
